Another new mutant, Thao Tran - Melee - promptly comes to his defense. Like Kate,Melee can become intangible, although she lacks any control.

These three mutants are only the newest of Marvel’s growingnext generation of X-Men. In the ongoingUncanny X-Menseries by Gail Simone and David Marquez, four new mutants have debuted, each with their own array of fantastic powers. While Marvel’s roster of young mutants expands, more parties, each with their own goals, will continue to take interest in the opportunities that freshly-discovered mutants provide. In Emma Frost’s case, she is most likelyplanning to build a new mutant school of her ownwhile Rogue struggles to forge a new School for Gifted Youngsters.
