“The After Hours” Hits Apple TV+ At 6 PM PT On Thursday Evening
Though the “official” release day for new episodes ofSeveranceis Friday, Apple TV+ has consistently dropped new entries a few hours early. Accordingly,Severanceseason 2, episode 9, “The After Hours,” will be released at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 13 via Apple TV+. That means the release time forSeveranceseason 2, episode 9 will be at 6 p.m. PT, 7 p.m. MT, and 8 p.m. CT in other United States time zones. In the UK, “The After Hours” will drop at 1 a.m. GMT on Friday, March 14 on Apple TV+.

Will Cobel Actually Join Forces With Mark & Devon?

SinceSeveranceseason 2, episode 8 endedwithCobel speaking on the phone with Devon about Mark’s reintegration, it’s expected that episode 9 will kick off with the three characters reuniting to discuss their mysterious new plan against Lumon. While Cobel previously would have been an untrustworthy ally for Mark and Devon to rely upon, she now proves to be a major asset given her knowledge of Lumon’s inner workings and her leverage over the Eagan family with the drawings that prove she invented the severance procedure.
Severance Season 2 Finally Explains Why Cobel Was Really Testing Gemma & Mark Back In Season 1
Cobel was conducting her own private tests on Mark and Gemma’s Innies back in Severance season 1, and the real reason for them is finally revealed.
Meanwhile, it’s expected thatSeveranceseason 2, episode 9 will finally return to the severed floor togive much-needed updates on the status of both Helly and Dylan. Previous trailer footage showed Helly finding thedirections to the Testing Floor that Irving left for Dylan, so she might figure out how to travel there herself in episode 9. Additionally, following the reveal that Burt’s history with Lumon goes much deeper than the severance procedure, “The After Hours” will also likely address his plans for Irving, who has secretly been investigating Lumon’s severance work.

Following “The After Hours,” there will only be one episode remaining inSeveranceseason 2. While season 1 only had a nine-episode order,Severanceseason 2 was granted a total of 10 episodes. Therefore,Severance’s season 2 finale arrives next week at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 20. Though the writing is reportedly already underway, Apple TV+ has yet to officially renewSeveranceseason 3 – but the announcement is expected to arrive around the finale.
