Deavan Cleggand Jihoon Lee got the news their son, Taeyang, had cancer after featuring in90 Day Fiancé: The Other Wayseason 2, but he is now cancer-free. Deavan, who was already a mother of one, first met Jihoon on an international dating site.Despite the language barrier, the couple quickly fell in loveduring their long-distance relationship. They met in person when Jihoon briefly visited America to meet Deavan. They stayed at a love hotel and conceived their son during their first intimate encounter. On July 03, 2025,Deavan and Jihoon welcomed their son, Taeyang Scuti Lee Clegg.
During90 Day Fiancé: The Other Wayseason 2, Deavan relocated to South Korea with her daughter, Drascilla, from a previous relationship, and her son Taeyang. She had hoped to start a family with Jihoon, buthe wasn’t prepared to fulfill his responsibilities as a fatherand husband.Their constant fights about financial hardships pushed Deavanto her breaking point, leading her to return to Utah and eventually divorce Jihoon. Deavan’s mother, Elicia Clegg, has mentioned Jihoon is welcome to visit America to see his son whenever he wishes, but he has yet to do so.
Taeyang Fought Against Cancer For Over Two Years
A few years after theconclusion of Deavan and Jihoon’s storyon the show, she shared heartbreaking news about their son’s health. In May 2022, the90 Day Fiancéfranchise alum shared with her followers thatTaeyang, then 3 years old, had been diagnosed with B-cell acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Despite Deavan being portrayed as a villain on the show, fans rallied around Taeyang with their support. Following several difficult moments and visits to the hospital,Deavanjoyfully announced in August 2024 that Taeyang had beaten cancer.
Deavan said, “Taeyang’s resilience and bravery have been truly inspiring.”

In December 2024,Deavanposted pictures of Taeyang and Drascilla celebrating the holidays with the Grinch. In the heartwarming pictures,Taeyang appeared more mature with his darker hair, showing signs of losing the chubby cheeks of infancy and growing into a young child.90 Day Fiancéfans were thrilled to see Taeyang taking part in the joyful experience after overcoming a tough battle with cancer, with one commenting,“Merry Christmas to you and your family. Glad to see Taeyang healthy again.”
Topher Adores Taeyang As If He Were His Own Child
After ending her relationship with Jihoon, Deavan started dating Topher Park, whom she had met during a flight to South Korea. The90 Day Fiancéfranchise alum announced their relationship on Instagram in September 2020, and they had a child together in October 2022.Topherhasproved himself to be a wonderful father figure to Drascilla and Taeyang, and he embraces them as his children.
