While Moriah’s relationship with Olivia, and subsequently Ethan, eventually stalled out,she was close with her brother and his wife during their early years of marriage. Moriah was going through a lot with her parents, rebelling from the lifestyle they’d built for her and hoping that she’d be able to carve her own path. While there were some issues between Olivia and Moriah already existing, Olivia and Ethan allowed Moriah to live with them for a time when things were rocky for her at home.
WhileEthan and Olivia trusted Moriah to live in their space, she wasn’t respectful to her brother and his wife. Moriah allegedly failed to pay the rent she’d agreed on to Ethan and Olivia, even though she claims that it was never something they’d solidified. Even though her brother’s relationship with Olivia was over, Moriah wanted to make sure that she was able to speak her truth to Olivia.
Offering a lackluster apology,Moriah met with Olivia to say she was sorry if anything she’d done had been wrong or hurtful. She didn’t actually apologize for her actions, though she did admit she’d lied to everyone about everything and thrown Olivia under the bus to the world.
