The originalCall of Duty: Warzonebattle royale map, Verdansk, returns as the game celebrates its fifth anniversary with a special in-game event and up to 20 rewards for players to earn.Warzonehas been struggling with declining player counts and an ongoing cheating problem, but givenhow beloved Verdansk is, Season 3 and its return should bring a lot of players back to the game.
New and returning players will be able to jump back into the classic map withsome ofWarzone’smost iconic weapons, one of which is unlocked just by opening the game. The Return to Verdansk event has a total of 17 rewards to unlock while it’s ongoing, and encourages you to explore every part of Verdansk.

All The Challenges And Their Rewards
There are a total of 13 challenges to complete in the Return to VerdanskWarzoneevent. One of these you will complete just by opening the game, which will give you three rewards, but only complete one section in the event. The other12 challenges require you to open a special safe in each of Verdansk’s 12 unique locations. These will spawn randomly in each game, and if you open one in a squad, then every member will get that reward.

Random From Any Of The 12 Safes
All 12 rewards in the safes are cosmetics, from weapon stickers to calling cards, so you can complete them in any order you want. Completing all 13 challenges will unlock the Kali Sticks melee weapon forWarzone. While you unlock each safe, you have a chance to unlock the Trail Blazer operator skin for Caine. If you don’t find it while completing each mission,you can continue to find and unlock safes in Verdansk to try and unlock the Trail Blazer skin.

How Long Is The Return To Verdansk Event?
You’ve Got Until This Date To Unlock All The Rewards
The Return to Verdansk event went live on April 3 at 9 AM ET/12 PM CT/5 PM BST, andit will end on April 15 on April 3 at 9 AM ET/12 PM CT/5 PM BST. This means you have 12 days to unlock all the rewards in the event and to try and get the more elusive Trail Blazer Operator Skin from the random safes.
If you played the original Verdansk, you will also unlock the “Blue Legacy” Contrail, “Coming Home” Parachute, and “Like We Never Left” Gunscreen for free.
There is also a double XP event taking place inBlack Ops 6andWarzonealongside the Return to Verdansk event. This is only giving double XP for weapons and account levels, not the Battle Pass, to help you level up the new guns and help new players unlock the base weapons, perks, and equipment they’ll need. This double XP event runs for five days; it will end on April 8 at the usual time.
