Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as Mike and Marcus looking at someone in Bad Boys for Life.

The idea was to go against them, and I’m not avoiding them, they do. So now I have to trust them, and usually we don’t trust sh*t. Nobody. So now you have to time it so it’s right.

After the first twoBad Boysmovies, many believed that the Will Smith and Martin Lawrence-led franchise was finished. However, the franchise returned in 2020 after 17 years withBad Boys for Life. At the time, there were concerns that a third film would not live up to the first two movies, butBad Boys for Lifeactually received better reviews. It iscurrently the highest-rated movie in the series on Rotten Tomatoes.
