Netflix has revealed a series of newTyler Perryprojects in development. The multihyphenate Hollywood talent has previously struck deals with streamers, including Prime Video and Netflix, to produce movies for their platforms. Most recently,Perry helmedThe Six Triple Eightas part of his creative partnership with Netflix. The WW2 period drama is about a group of 855 Black women, who band together to fix a multi-year backlog of undelivered mail.The Six Triple Eighthas done well on Netflix and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

As per Netflix,the platform now has new projects scheduled with Perry. One of these projects will be aMadeamovie titledMadea’s Destination Wedding. Also premiering in 2025 is a new Perry comedy series,She the People. In addition, Netflix revealed the full lineup of his projects for this year, includingBeauty in Black,Straw, andR&B.
