WhileMarvel Studios and Sony Pictures have yet to formally announce Sink forSpider-Man 4, theStranger Thingsstar was recently asked about the Jean rumors. As details remain under wraps, Sink stated,“This is news to me… No, I have nothing to say about this. The rumors are really cool though. It’s an awesome rumor… Yeah, I know the character. It’s a great character, so it was cool to read.”

What The Spider-Man 4 Concept Trailer Means For The MCU Sequel

ForSpider-Man 4, which is also coming from Sony Pictures, the pressure is twice as big on Sink, because it will be up to them and Marvel Studios to reveal when they are ready to tell the world who she is in the film. With Jean also being one of the most popular X-Men characters of all time, seeing her as part oftheSpider-Man 4storywould be a massive way to kick off Holland’s next potential MCU trilogy. Whether or not Sink is actually playing Jean or another major Marvel character remains to be seen.

Our Take On The Spider-Man 4 Concept Trailer

As cool as it would be to see Jean inSpider-Man 4,it seems highly unlikely that the MCU would go in the route of the concept trailer by having her as the big bad of Peter’s next movie. Introducing Jean as a supporting character, however, could make sense forSpider-Man 4, as Phase 6 gets ready to close outThe Multiverse Saga. Hopefully, more news about Sink’s role inSpider-Man 4will start to emerge sooner rather than later.
