BABY ___

SWINGS

TEETER-TOTTER

This one was a bit tricky, just because TETHERBALLis often playground equipmentand I, in fact, had one on the playground I spent most of my childhood years. That makes it hard to realize it does not belong here, and it took me too many tries to separate it out from the rest of the words.

This is hard since it takes away your wiggle room to get it right, and you should be looking at every word instead of assuming one fits somewhere more than others.

TETHERBALL

YO-YO

Instead, TETHERBALL actually belongs in this category withall things that hang at the end of a string. Personally, I think PENDULUMs are more often than not metal, but I will take it. What actually stumped me in this category was TEA BAG, as it does not actually have the back and forth motion the others all do. I was fairly convinced TEETER-TOTTER belonged with the rest of these words and TEA BAG did not.

5 Letter Words Wordle Hasn’t Used Yet (Updated Daily)

Wordle, the popular word-guessing game hosted by The New York Times, has over 1,700 words remaining as possible solutions.

MARTINI

TEETOTALER

The fact that two of these do have some association with alcohol could be a source of confusion, but luckily them actually being in the same category should stop some of that confusion. However, connecting HUMOR and DESERT to the other two as"things that are dry"can be a harder line of thought to follow. The words in the next category are also a little hard to piece together, but if you can manage to do that one first, this one might be best saved for last.

STEPS

TEETH

This one could be hard to piece together as well, but it feels a little more straightforward than the previous category. Perhaps because BLUES, STEPS, and TEETHcould all be connected to babieswithout the word in front of it.

This might make it easier to round up those three, but figuring out that BOOMER is in the same category might be more difficult. I think it is a little easier given the amount of generational talk that often gets thrown around.
