Even though Sony Pictures decided to axSpider-Man 4more than a decade ago,the fact that there are still fans sharing concept ideas and fart-art for Maguire’s scrapped sequel indicates that there is still a big interest in his franchise coming back. Seeing Spider-Man and Agent Venom teamed up together in the new Marvel art,it would be exciting to seeSpider-Man 4bring Maguire and Manganiello’s characters together in this capacity if Sony Pictures ever decides to revisit that franchise. While there aremany reasons why Maguire’s Spider-Man 4 should happen, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are keeping their Spider-Man focus on Holland’s next installment. However, there may come a time when Sony Pictures at least looks at ways to makeSpider-Man 4happen for Maguire in one way or another.
