These twelve actors and actresses would be phenomenal inThe White Lotusseason 4 based on their previous roles and outstanding acting talent. Although details forThe White Lotusseason 4are still tightly under wraps,series creator Mike White hintedthat he would like to get away from the usual “crashing waves of rocks vernacular” that made previous seasons signature and iconic.The White Lotushas only featured a small handful of recurring characters across seasons, meaning that season 4, like thecast of season 3, should introduce a whole new slate of hotel resort guests.
Based on howThe White Lotusseason 3 finaleended, returning characters Belinda and Greg (Gary) are both able to return in future seasons after Belinda struck a deal that made her a millionaire. There has also beentalk of a reality TV competition show-inspired “all-star” seasonofThe White Lotus, which is sure to happen at some point, if not in season 4. White, who was famously a contestant (and near-winner) onSurvivorseason 37 and has starred in films likeSchool of RockandOrange County, would also be a great casting choice for his own Emmy-winning TV show.
12Jon Hamm
Jon Hamm would be perfect inThe White Lotus. Not only is he charming with leading-man looks but he’s also hilarious in comedic roles such as30 RockandCurb Your Enthusiasm. His versatility and range as an actor could make him either a likable hero or a convincing villain. His recent roles inLandman,The Morning Show, and his new Apple seriesYour Friend & Neighborsdemonstrate that he’s very active on the television front.AWhite Lotusseason with Hamm would also be a major drawfor those who haven’t seen the series.
11Toni Collette
Another veteran actor with impeccable range is Toni Collette. Known for playing all sorts of roles from horrified mothers (Hereditary) to a maniacally rich woman (Mickey 17), Collette would surely create one of the best characters in the history ofThe White Lotus. Most of her work as of late has been in film but she has recently starred inThe Staricase(2022),The Power(2023), and the podcast seriesMadam Ram(2025). No matter who Collette would play inThe White Lotus, her character would be exceptional.
10Woody Harrelson
Woody Harrelson was already cast inThe White Lotusseason 3before having to back out due to scheduling conflicts with a planned family vacation. Harrelson is a legend in both film (Natural Born Killers,Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) and television (True Detective,Cheers) and is always incredibly likable and impactful. A show likeThe White Lotusfeels as natural of a fit for Harrelson as Jeff Bridgers was forThe Big Lebowski. Harrelson would have played Sam Rockwell’s season 3 character, Frank.
9Laura Dern
Laura Dern has already “appeared” in two season 2 episodes ofThe White Lotus. The voice of her character,Abby Di Grasso, can be heard over the phone in season 2, episodes 1 and 7, similar to how Oscar winnerKe Huy Quan voiced a character inThe White Lotusseason 3. She could return as her season 2 character, which would be fun, or be recast in a completely new role, which might allow her more freedom with her character. Regardless, Dern would be fantastic forThe White Lotusaesthetic.
8Alexander Skarsgård
Alexander Skarsgård has already starred in ahandful of HBO series, such asTrue Blood,Big Little Lies, andSuccession. Since he’s already deep within the HBO family, he seems like a great candidate forThe White Lotusseason 4, especially if it were to take place somewhere in Eastern Europe. Despite playing brutish warriors like Amleth inThe Northmanand an android in the upcoming Apple seriesMurderbot, Skarsgård can be very funny in the right roles (his IMDb profile picture offers proof of his sense of humor).
7Greta Lee
Greta Lee has garnered much popularity and acclaim in recent years for her outstanding role in the Oscar-nominatedPast Livesand appearances in celebrated Apple TV shows such asThe Morning ShowandThe Studio. She has already passed the up-and-comer threshold, starring in the upcomingTron: Aresfilm, but would likely still consider prestige TV series likeThe White Lotus.Lee can bring a lot of grace and relatability to her roleswhile also being both dramatic and hilarious.
6Andrew Scott
Andrew Scott is an outstanding actor who would flourish inThe White Lotus. Evidence of his versatility can be found by watching Netflix’sRipleyand the celebrated filmAll of Us Strangersstarring Paul Mescal back to back. Scott first rose to prominence after starring inFleabagandBlack Mirror. His ability to carry a certain weight and darkness in some of his roles, particularlyRipley(for which he received an Emmy nomination),would make him an ideal villain inThe White Lotus. He could also play a more tender, funny character with his impressive range.
5Alison Brie
Alison Brie has been on many fan wishlists forThe White Lotusand she continues to be for good reason. Known best for her bubbly roles inCommunityandGLOW, Brie is also a strong dramatic actor who has starred inMad Men,Promising Young Woman,The Lego Movie, and more. Brie would likely best play abright and cheery character inThe White Lotus,similar to season 3’s Chelsea. She does have some serious talent in dramatic roles as well, which would make her character a perfect wildcard.
4Ben Mendelsohn
Fans of Netflix’sBloodlineseries will remember Mendelsohn’s outstanding performance as Danny Rayburn, which won him an Emmy and three nominations.Bloodline, which takes place in an idyllic coastal hotel in the Florida Keys, feels like an audition tape for Mendelsohn inThe White Lotus. It was impossible to take your eyes off Danny’s self-destructive character, which Mendelsohn could take inspiration for inThe White Lotus. While he can play heroes and anti-heroes very well, he’s also a spectacular villain, as seen inAndorandRogue One.
3Sophie Wilde
Sophie Wilde would be a great fit for a younger visitor, likely a daughter, inThe White Lotusseason 4.Known for her roles inTalk To Me,Babygirl, andBoy Swallows Universe, Wilde is one of the best modern actresses under 30. She only has a handful of acting credits to her name, starting with 2021’sEden,andThe White Lotuswould be a great addition to that list. Her distinct aesthetic would fit in perfectly with that ofThe White Lotusand would also be a great platform for her career.
