Ralph Fiennes as Doctor Kelson in 28 Years Later

He’s a survivor, and the way he survived is very interesting. He’s quite out-there in his views on the world. I think audiences will assume something about him and then see where it goes." “[He’ll be] a much bigger part of the next one.

What Fiennes' Statement Means For His Dr. Kelson In 28 Years Later

He’s A Character With Plenty Of Mystery About Him

There’s not much information about how Dr. Kelson will interact with the rest of the characters, other than he’s a seasoned survivor they meet on their travels. However, he can be seen multiple times in the28 Years Latertraileraround various bone structures, indicating he’ll have an important role to play when it comes to this location. As for Fiennes' role in general,it seems he’ll at least appear in the first two movies of the trilogy, with his fate afterward currently unclear.

One 28 Years Later Scene Makes It A Totally Different Movie Compared To 28 Days Later

2002’s 28 Days Later is one of the most iconic post-apocalyptic movies, but now, one 28 Years Later scene is moving the franchise in a new direction.

However, the image of him covered in blood isn’t something new for his character, as it appears the survivors are going to be meeting him while he’s drenched in red. This could have something to do with how he’s been able to survive, perhaps using a method similar toThe Walking Deadto disguise his scent from the infected. This may also connect to28 Years Later’s Bone Templelocation, with him being there perhaps another indicator of how he was able to live for so many years.
