What The New Masked Singer Season 13 Format Means For The Show
The Change Will Allow Some Contestants To Stick Around Longer
The Masked Singerseason 13’s new format will allow some of the singers to remain on the show longer, which is a good thing. During the season 12 group finales, the show saw the exits of Group A’s Marsai Martin (Woodpecker) and Paula Cole (Ship), Group B’s Natalie Imbruglia (Bluebell), and Group C’s Jana Kramer (Royal Knight) and Bronson Arroyo (Sherlock Hound). During the Group B finals, the panelists saved Kobie Turner (Goo) with the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell, which meant that the quarter-finals featured him,AJ Michalka (Strawberry Shortcake), Mario (Wasp), and Boyz II Men (Buffalos).

The season 13 format will allow for that. It’s also thrilling that the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell, Battle Royales, and Smackdowns are continuing. Hopefully, the Smack Royale, in which AJ and Boyz II Men battled for a spot in the finale by singing “Counting Stars” by OneRepublic both individually and in harmony, will return.
