Star Wars Outlaws' Ending Sets Up The Perfect Bounty Hunter Sequel
Kay Giving Vail The Codex Is The Perfect Setup
Near the end ofStar Wars Outlaws, Kay retrieves a codex containing dirt on various high-ranking members of the Empire. She gives this to the bounty hunter Vail, recommending she use the information inside to start her own business. This creates the perfect setup for aStar Wars Outlawssequel heavily featuring bounty hunters- either Vail herself, or a group of contractors working for her. The concept of hunting down various Empire officers and holding them accountable for their crimes is irresistible.
It’s alsothe perfect framework for a Ubisoft-developed stealth-action game. TheAssassin’s Creedgames often feature conspiracy networks that players must chip away at with their limited intel, each new branch revealing new information about the next. A sort of Imperial burn book lays the groundwork necessary for a similar mechanic to be introduced in aStar Wars Outlawssequel.

A Star Wars Outlaws Sequel Has Enormous Potential
Character Creators, Multiplayer, & More
It may be ambitious, but aStar Wars Outlawsspinoff could build enormously on the formula introduced by its predecessor, introducing various new mechanics to expand this particular corner of theStar Warsuniverse. For one thing, if it stars a network of bounty hunters established by Vail, that could necessitate a robust character creator. It’s rare forStar Warsgames to let players design their own characters - there are just so many different races and lore details to choose from. But even a character creator with a handful of differentStar Warsraces, facial options, and outfits would go above and beyond what most games in the franchise offer.
Star Wars Outlaws' Maps Sizes Compared To Jedi: Survivor’s
Ubisoft has billed Star Wars Outlaws as the first open-world Star Wars game, so how do its maps compare to Jedi: Survivor’s hub worlds?
This could even lay the foundations for amultiplayerStar Warsbounty hunter game. Maybe Vail’s contacts aren’t as organized and professional as she might like - they’re bounty hunters, after all. They could attempt to interrupt or assist in each other’s missions, either withDark Souls-style invasions or in a more traditional MMO structure. Coupled with players' unique character designs, this would create a richly immersiveStar Warsexperience.

It’s easy to see that a bounty hunter spinoff has a lot of potential, but for now, this is just a hypothetical. It’s far too early to start hoping for a sequel, especially one so ambitious and promising. It’ll depend onStar Wars Outlaws' performance whether future games have the opportunity to explore this new avenue.
