During aNetflixbehind-the-scenes video, Kang explains that even though he was becoming proficient at playing Gonggi, an expert was brought in. The Gonggi expert was"unbelievably good"and had unparalleled technique.The expert playing the game is what was filmed and used inSquid Gameseason 2, and it was only later edited to appear as if Dae-ho was the one playing Gonggi the entire time.
