Starz has struck gold with thePowerfranchise, and the prequel seriesPower Book III: Raising Kananis already renewed for a fifth season. Launching as a prequel to the aforementioned flagship show,Raising Kanantracks the early days of its titular character as he establishes himself as the infamous drug kingpin that was so popular inPower, and specifically explores his complicated relationship with his mother. ThoughthePowerfranchise expanded into four series,Raising Kananis the only spinoff to rival its predecessor in terms of quality and longevity.

After the cancelation ofPowerin 2019, there was a new spinoff each year until 2022, whenPower Book IV: Forcedebuted. Since then,Power Book II: GhostandForcehave bitten the dust after four and three seasons, respectively, thoughForce’s final outing hasn’t aired yet. The ’90s period piece has managed to blaze its own trail that sets it apart from its contemporaries, and that is why season 5 may not be the last.

Who Will Survive For Raising Kanan Season 5?

Predicting the cast ofPower Book III: Raising Kananseason 5 is somewhat difficult since it’s expected that more than a few characters could die throughout season 4.One certain return is that of Mekai Curtis as Kanan Stark, since the show is his namesake, and he lives to appear inPower. It’s also possible that season 5 adds some new characters and, as Starz' Kathryn Busby teased, could also pull in othercharacters from thePoweruniverseto appear as their 1990s selves.
