Having Robin appear in more arcs than she is supposed to in season 2 might not seem a great idea at first.One Pieceis already a convoluted story with plenty of charactersby default, so making too many changes to canon could make things even more complicated. However, for a TV show that needs to appeal to both anime fans and new audiences, it makes sense to have recurring villains and characters that appear throughout the entire season instead of just one island.One Pieceseason 1 did something similar with Garp, Buggy, and Arlong.
One Piece Season 2 Has A Golden Opportunity To Turn A Joke Anime Character Into A Major Villain
One Piece season 2 will include Chopper’s live-action debut, and the Netflix show has the chance to turn a joke villain into a menacing “final boss.”
Garp was a major character in season 1 despite not being involved in the events of East Blue in the source material, whereas Buggy and Arlong were both used at the Baratie instead don Krieg. The same could now happen to Miss All Sunday, especially as Crocodile should ideally only come face to face with Luffy and the Straw Hats after they reach Arabasta inOne Pieceseason 3.
