Marvel Rivalsis already a fairly chaotic hero shooter, thanks to its huge roster of characters sporting powerful abilities capable of annihilating one another. Of course, there’s always the possibility of it becoming even more chaotic, thanks to new game modes, broken characters in desperate need of nerfing, or new abilities. Fortunately, after rumors speculated about its existance, one of those is coming toMarvel Rivals, and it could turn the entire game on its head.
There are exciting newfeatures coming toMarvel Rivalsall the time, most of which the community absolutely loves. However, a brand-new game mode could be the game’s most exciting feature, if only due to its endless potential for ridiculously chaotic matches that would certainly test the skills of a lot of players and finally showcase what an endless horde of Lokis could do.

A New Mode Could Let You Play As 18 Lokis In Marvel Rivals
It Is All Thanks To His Doppelganger Ability
After leaks teased it a short while ago, it has been officially confirmed thatMarvel Rivalsis getting a game mode called Clone Rumble, which allows every player to pick the same character. Typically, each character can only be selected once, forcing players to have a balanced team, at least, in theory. However, Clone Rumble lets players have a team of six Rocket Raccoons, six Venoms, or, most importantly, six Lokis. This is where the Clone Rumble game mode could become really interesting, as one ofLoki’s bestMarvel Rivalabilitieswould allow 18 Lokis to appear on the map simultaneously.
Loki’s doppleganger ability allows him to spawn two other versions of himself that can use a limited selection of his abilities. They’re usually intended to help distract the enemy or make a hasty retreat. However, as Reddit userSamantha G.pointed out,in the Clone Rumble mode, this ability could be used to have 18 (or potentially 36) Lokis on the field at any given time. Not only does the Clone Rumble mode therefore allow everyone to be one ofMarvel Rivals’best villains, but it allows there to be 18 of him in the battle at once.

Why A Match Full Of Loki Players Would Be So Chaotic
No One Would Know Who Is Who
It goes without saying, but 18 Lokis on the field at once - which would work if all six players spawned their two doppelgangers - would be pure chaos. The enemy team would have literally no idea who they were fighting against, forced to target each and every Loki in the hopes of hitting the right one. They’d also be attacked by 18 different characters, which, unless they used the same tactic or tried to attack as a single unit, would see them picked off very quickly.
NetEase Has Revealed “More Crossover” Events Are Coming To Marvel Rivals, Alongside Other Major Announcements
NetEase has revealed that more crossover events will be coming to Marvel Rivals alongside the announcement of eSports teams possibly coming soon.
The Loki doppelgangers will shoot wherever the original Loki shoots and can heal the target that the original Loki is healing. So, if all six original Lokis are aiming at the same spot, it’ll unleash a deadly barrage of damage that’ll knock out even the best players. Of course, this kind of strategy may see someMarvel Rivalsplayers complain, but it will nevertheless inject a lot of fun into the game and showcase just how powerful Loki can be.
