Metaphor: ReFantazio’s Necromancer Takedown and its associated dungeon, the Regalith Grand Cathedral, is the first introduction to time management for players. Players face a deadline to defeat the necromancer Zorba while gaining access to the activities available within Grand Trad. Properly timing the dungeon’s completion, activities, requests, and bounties can be overwhelming initially. Still, it is a great way to make the dungeon run smoothly and create a solid foundation as the game opens up.
LikePersona’sPalaces, players receive a calendar deadline to enter the dungeon anddefeat Zorba inMetaphor: ReFantazio. Activities like shopping, listening in on conversations, and meeting with More do not progress time forward. However, once done, other activities will take the time slot you are currently in.The deadline encourages players to make wise decisions about how they spend their days, balancing the completion of the dungeon with the progression of bonds, royal virtues, and side quests.

Necromancer Takedown Start Date, Deadline & Rewards
Everything To Know About The Necromancer Takedown
Necromancer Takedown and the broader activities available to the player begin on 6/12. Once the quest starts, players will have until 6/21 to complete the Regalith Grand Cathedral and achieve any free-time-related goals. It’s important to note thatcompleting the dungeon early does not progress the time to 6/21.
For example, completing the dungeon on 6/14 leaves the player free to peruse Grand Trad with the remaining deadline time. A sizable portion of activities are unlocked once the dungeon is complete, so clearing it as early as possible makes finishing limited quests more feasible.

Metaphor: ReFantazio - How To Farm EXP & MAG Fast
Farming EXP and MAG is a grind, but if you’re focused on gaining the experience you need, you can do it easily in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
Completing the Necromancer Takedownalone offers no lump reward. However, within the dungeon, there arecountless chests inMetaphor: ReFantazioand rare items to collect, and defeating enemies gives a steady trickle of Reeve, the primary currency ofMetaphor Re: Fantazio, and MAG, the currency used for interacting with the archetype system via More.

Thebosses within the dungeonwill also reward you with large amounts of resources and unique valuables that can be sold for a hefty sum. Outside the dungeon, side-quests and bounties can reward you with Royal Virtue Points, bond increases, items, and resources.

How To Use Your Time
Thebest time to complete the first main dungeon in the game is early into the deadline, such as on 6/14. Typically, progressing bonds with your party members is a core component of free time, but this feature is locked until the dungeons' completion.
The recruitment center will also offer its first bounty after the dungeon’s completion. Lastly, Briggita, a merchant on Sumleo Street, provides the player with a quest to deal with an optional dungeon and boss, which is likely too difficult for a party to enter without completing the Cathedral.
If you intend to clear Regalith Cathedral in one day, managing MP is paramount. Buy health items instead of using healing spells, and utilize the Mage Archetype to restore MP by killing overworld enemies.
The goal of free time before entering the Cathedral is to increase your party’s immediate strength. One of the easiest ways to do so is bypurifying gear and weaponsyou may have obtained within the Nord Mines, which upgrades their stats and adds new abilities.
Luckily, purifying gear and accepting Briggitas quest require Wisdom level 2, so you’re able to access both by simply completing the Young Nidia’s quest on Sumleo Street, which offers Wisdom points as one of its rewards. The following day, turn in the pursuit, purify any gear available, and accept Briggita’s request.

As a last bit of preparation, feel free to complete the remaining side quest,A Pagan’s Dilemma, stock up on MP items at the Entero Water Shop, and upgrade your gear at the Smithy and Shield Works, none of which moves time forward.
After finishing the Cathedral, I recommend undertaking the bounty “Mans Not-So Best Friend” before Briggita’s quest, as it is shorter and more accessible to complete. Afterward, raise your bond with Strohl and Hulkenberg at least once and fill your remaining time via repeatable virtue activities inMetaphor: ReFantazio.
