The source of the leak comes from Miller Ross, a notable leaker who has correctly predicted several Marvel reveals and announcements but a grain of salt is still recommended ahead of an official unveiling.The image itself, which just depicts Moon Knight’s mask, hood, and upper torso, has been praised by multiple users eager to see the full design; UserSuperSaberman7summed it up with “This goes so hard!”

Moon Knight has recently gained a decent following thanks tothe hit Marvel Cinematic Universe showbased on the character; Even before that, he was known as a fan-favorite Marvel hero thanks to his unique aesthetic and some fantastic stories. His inclusion in Marvel Rivals is a smart pick given that his Khonshu-granted abilities allow him to mechanically stand out from the rest of the game’s cast. He may not have the brute power of The Hulk or Thor, but based on a recent datamine,his kit will largely provide some technical boosts and counters for his team.
Some of his leaked abilities include moves designed to stun and reveal invisible enemies, making him situational but incredibly powerful when the need arises. Some of his other skills include Lunakinesis which launches crescent darts that bounce between enemies, and Lunar Chain which serves as a grappling hook that grants extra mobility. Much like the leaked image of his artwork, none of these details have been officially confirmed so fans shouldn’t take them all at face value.

I’ll openly admit that I don’t have the time nor energy to devote to a hero-shooter;I did my time withOverwatchback in the day and my gaming habits have changed a lot over the last decade. Having said that, I must give props to theMarvel Rivalsart team sincethey’ve consistently put out some excellent character designs and I’m eager to see their take on more heroes. I hope the Moon Knight leak turns out to be accurate because I think the snippet of his aesthetic looks fantastic and I can’t wait to see the whole image.
