Jujutsu Kaisenhas finally reached a major milestone just ahead of its manga’s ending, making for the perfect conclusion to its six-year-long journey. Just as the final chapter is about to drop, Gege Akutami’s hit battle manga has finally joined the ranks of the highest-selling manga, marking a major achievement for the series.
According to posts on X byWSJ_mangaandMangaMoguraRE,Jujutsu Kaisenhas finally reached 100 million copies in circulation as of Volume 28, right in time for the manga’s ending. This achievement appears to be thehappy announcement thatJujutsu Kaisenteasedin the previous issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump. As for the final two volumes, bothvolumes 29 and 30 will be released together on August 14, 2025.

But, now that the said announcement has been revealed to be about the 100 million sales achievement instead, it is clear thatJujutsu Kaisenis likely not getting a sequel.

That said, the final chapter and the upcoming issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump that it will be featured in are yet to be officially released, and this information is based solely on early leaks of the chapter posted online. Regardless, the chances ofJujutsu Kaisengetting a continuation are slim for now, but the series' author Gege Akutami may still return with a brand new series in the future.
