With the new hero reworks, Orisa has quickly emerged as one of the most terrifying tanks in Overwatch 2. She’s no longer the shield turtle that Overwatch fans knew her as, and her reworked kit allows her to be so much more proactive and aggressive. Here’s the thing: Orisa is fantastic in close range combat and really getting right up in the enemy’s face to put pressure on them. However, she has almost no way to deal with foes that are far away from her.
Orisa’s Energy Javelin lets her throw a powerful spear at an enemy to knock them back slightly, but the range on that thing isn’t great. This means that you’ll want to use heroes that are good at dealing damage from a longer distance, and maintain a good amount of space between you and Orisa.

Supports like Ana and Zenyatta can also help to debuff her while dealing damage from range. The most important thing here is to verify that Orisa is unable to close the gap between her and your team. Once she gets up in your face, it becomes incredibly hard to shake her off and kill her before she kills you.
While Orisa is good at picking off squishier targets on their own, she also doesn’t work well under pressure. This means that if she gets focused down by your entire team, even her Fortify ability won’t save her. So if all else fails, gang up on her to take her down quickly.
