Team comps may get stronger inHonkai: Star Rail2.6 with the addition of a new Relic set, as indicated by a leak centered around the update’s content. Version 2.6 is the next big patch for HoYoverse’s turn-based RPG. At the moment, the game is going through the content of Version 2.5, which includes the new story missions on the Xianzhou Luofu and the event centered around the Wardance Festival. This is the same patch that has introduced the playable versions of Feixiao, Moze, andLingsha inHonkai: Star Railfollowing their debut as NPCs in the previous update.
Even though the game is still in Version 2.5, eyes are turning toward the next patch. The next playable character to be introduced has been confirmed to be Rappa, a 5-star Imaginary character who follows the Path of the Erudition. Because of her Path, Rappa is expected to be a multi-target DPS. Based on leaks, there will also be new story missions to partake in, though the exact nature of their content is still unknown. There have also beenLight Cone leaks inHonkai: Star Rail2.6that sound extremely promising for newer players and those who missed past events.

New Relic Set In Honkai: Star Rail 2.6 Has Leaked
The New Relics May Affect “Party Target” Servants
Version 2.6 may receive a Relic set called Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal, which should be superb for some support units in the game. The information comes from the leaker known as HomDGCat, which was then shared in a post onReddit. The rumored Relic set seems dedicated to support units in the game, though its usage may be limited to only a few characters at the time. The main idea behind the leak was to show that this new Relic set should affect theleaked Servants mechanic inHonkai: Star Railsince it affects “Party Targets” instead of only characters.
Leaked Relics In Honkai: Star Rail 2.6 Seem Perfect For One Support Character
Tingyun Could Excel With The Rumored Relic Set
As seen in the leak, the two-piece bonus granted by the rumored Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal Relic set grants the user a 6% SPD bonus. On the other hand, the four-piece bonus sees that, when the wearer uses their Skill or Ultimate on one Party Target, this increases the target’s CRIT DMG by 20%, lasting for two turns– this effect can be stacked up to two times. This is great for support characters who can target single party members instead of the entire team. At the moment, the best unit to use the set isTingyun inHonkai: Star Rail.
Both Tingyun’s Skill and Ultimate target a single ally, meaning that she can provide a 40% CRIT DMG boost if she uses both abilities on the team’s DPS, for instance. This bonus also stacks with her regular ATK buff and Energy Regeneration in addition to a DPS character’s regularly high CRIT stats, which could make them deal even stronger devastating blows in combat. It is worth noting that this leaked Relic set from Version 2.6, however, does not seem to fit every support character, includingRobin inHonkai: Star Rail.

Not All Support Characters Can Use The Leaked Relic Set From Honkai: Star Rail 2.6
Some Characters’ Abilities Do Not Trigger The Relics’ Effects
This is because the description of the leaked description of the Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal Relic set mentions that the four-piece bonus effect is only triggered when the wearer uses their abilities on one Party Target – which excludes those who use skills targeting the entire team.Neither Robin’s Skill nor Ultimate would activate the CRIT DMG bonuses since both abilities target all party members. Ruan Mei andSparkle inHonkai: Star Rail, for instance, could trigger the effect with their respective Skills, but their Ultimates would not, which would make the leaked Relic set to go to waste on them.
With these limitations, Ruan Mei and Sparkle could trigger a 20% CRIT DMG buff on their allied DPS with their Skills, but to reach the 40% they would need to use their Skill a second time, despite its regular effects still being active.

Of course, with the release of more support characters in the future, it is quite likely that the rumored Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal Relic set will become the BiS (best-in-slot) for other units aside from Tingyun– there is a chance future Harmony characters will have both their Skill and Ultimate abilities targeting a single Party target rather than all their allies, which has been the case of many of the most recent support units. The addition of the Servants mechanic may also substantially change the status ofHonkai: Star Rail’s combat strategies.
Honkai Star Rail Leaks Reveal New Update That Could Change Combat Forever
Combat in Honkai: Star Rail may undergo significant changes, according to leaks about a brand new gameplay mechanic in a future update.
At the moment, the leaks about the Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal Relic set in Version 2.6 should be considered with some caution, as the percentage of the buffs and the exact wording may still be subject to change ahead of its release. Nevertheless, the leak does show that the game is not only expanding but adapting its keywords to better fit the rumored new gameplay mechanics that may forever changeHonkai: Star Rail.
