Hogwarts Legacy Players Have Been Asking For Quidditch Since The Game Released

Rumors Of Unconfirmed DLCs Have Periodically Sparked Hope For Quidditch Add-Ons

SinceHogwarts Legacylaunched in 2023, players have beenbegging for a DLCfor the game that would allow them to take to the skies and get some real time on the Quidditch field. Unfortunately,no such DLC (or any DLC, for that matter), has been unveiled for the game;when the developers added new features to the title in the summer of 2024, players were sorely disappointed in the lack of new content, and even more upset that Quidditch was once again passed up as a possible new feature.

Though there are some in-game clues that point to moresinister reasons for the Quidditch season being canceledinHogwarts Legacy, that particular storyline wasn’t expanded on in the game.It seems there was plenty of content already in the game that could’ve set players up to start the season back up, though the developers decided not to explore it. It continued to be one of players' biggest sticking points for the title.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Championswill be the closest thing players get to actively participating in matches of the fantasy sport, though with the option to play recognizable characters from the base franchise,it puts the focus back on the original novel series by J.K. Rowling. Whether or not it’ll satisfyHogwarts Legacyplayer’s Quidditch desires remains to be seen, but for some, it may just do the trick.
