In 1922, David Lawrence, a veteran of the Great War in France, and a Deputy Inspector in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is assigned to a remote outpost in northern Alberta. The small rag-tag unit he commands is actually a top secret sub-agency whose mission is to kill werewolves and prevent them from spreading south to prey on larger settlements and population centers.

Larry Hama started his career in comics working as Wally Wood’s assistant in the early seventies, after which he joined Neal Adams’ Continuity Associates. After working as a penciler, Hama would eventually make the jump to being an editor and writer in the 1980s. By his own admission,Hama took the job writing theG.I. Joecomic because no other writer at Marvel wanted the task. As an author, Larry Hama has always made the most of his opportunities, and the Kickstarter campaign forMounties vs. Werewolvesis just the next extension of that.
