The mistake happens a few times in “The Temp,” which makes me thinkFuturamaseason 12 is building to a larger storythat will culminate in its penultimate episode. My theory is strengthened a little by the presence of the word “Mystery” in episode 9’s title as well.

However, the ongoing return of the word raised my eyebrow.“The Temp” also does a great job of further disguising its tease by heavily featuring booksas part of its story, giving the characters plenty of opportunity to make library references.
