Our Take: OG Has Brought More Bots, & A Fix Should Be In The Works
Players Wish For Balance To Be Restored
WhileFortniteis one of the most popular Battle Royales out right now, fans are very upset with the state of the game. One comment on the X post from the developers, by userShiina, says,“I just encountered a real player in my lobby, are you already aware of that bug?“Of course, this is sarcasm, but rather than being excited about the duos and changes that came toFortnite OG,fans want a fix for the immense number of non-playing “players”.
As someone who used to playFortnitequite a bit, I personally never had an issue with bots. Since I was not very good at the title at the time, getting some kills made me feel kind of good, and it balanced out the matches for newbies like myself. While I do think that bots should be managed better in the matches with players that have a massive amount of hours in-game, only time will tell as to if Epic will fix the bot takeover inFortnite, or simply let it ride for the season.
