Housing auto-demolition paused on Japanese Final Fantasy XIV servers

It’s not the first time that theFFXIVteam has offered their support to players during tough times. Housing auto-demolition was canceled indefinitely for all servers during the COVID outbreak in 2020 and, in a haunting reflection of current events, the same happened after theKumamoto Earthquakesin 2016.

In a documentary byNoclip, Yoshi P discussed the 2016 tragedy and told a heart-touching story of how logging into the game was the only way for players across Japan to find out if their online friends were safe.
