I disagree though, and feel that not only is Deku’s Quirklessness now a good thing,he should have stayed Quirkless throughout the entire story,and it was never necessary for him to inherit One For All at all.
Contrary to what some fans may believe, with Deku’s motivation,a Quirk was never needed for him to become a hero.One For All certainly helped him expand the limits of what he was capable of, but using his creativity and ingenuity, Deku could still have excelled at U.A. High without ever obtaining a Quirk, and this example he could have set, that Quirkless individuals can still be heroes, would have been even more inspirational.

Now that My Hero Academia is over for good with the final epilogue, the series’s most pressing question seems like it will never be answered.
It was wonderfully lucky that All Might’s Quirk was transferable, but had it not been, I believe the potential for greatness that caused him to choose Deku in the first place would still have been visible to him. For ten months, Deku trained tirelessly to get into U.A. and prepare his body to handle such an intense Quirk, but Deku was able to become powerful and muscular through those months even without a Quirk. Scenes like these prove thatDeku has the willingness to work hard and develop himself into an ideal hero, Quirk or no Quirk.

Many Quirkless and temporarily Quirkless characters, as well as even heroes with Quirks,have relied on support items, so it would not be unusual for Deku to integrate this equipment into his hero work. In the Final War with Shigaraki and All For One, after All Might was virtually powerless and very vulnerable to the villains' attacks, he donned a supersuit called Armored All Might, that he later allowed one of his students, Bakugo, to use. If Deku had stayed Quirkless,he could have had a similar suit built to protect him and allow him to fighton par with Pro Heroes.

Deku is often considered the series' most relatable and human character anyway, since he changed from an average person to a supercharged hero over a short time, and was not born mighty like many of the other people around him. Although his journey is inspiring as it stands, him staying Quirkless would have been more impactful in my opinion.

If Deku had fought some of the world’s toughest villains like Stain, Overhaul, Shigaraki, and All For One, all without a Quirk, others without Quirks could have taken his example as proof that a Quirk is not a requirement to accomplish similar feats and keep the world safe from evil.

Deku stands out to me as one of anime’s most encouraging heroes because of his relatability, and him being Quirkless only heightens this factor, forcing him to rely more on his own training and ideas for support items to achieve success. The road to becoming a hero would have been much harder for Deku to embark on without One For All, but Ihave no doubt he still would have accomplished his goal.
Some fans are disappointed byDeku’s final role, since he lost his Quirk and became a teacher rather than a Pro Hero. However, this ending to his character arc could not be any more perfect, since I feel Deku should have stayed Quirkless from the beginning.
