As ever, 2025 promises to be a stacked year forWWE’sPLEs, both from the main brands and NXT. As the company strides forward into the Netflix Era, there’s more opportunity than ever for new eyeballs on the product, and high-gloss PLEs are a huge selling point of that relationship.
We’re less than a week away from WWE’s upcoming PLEElimination Chamber, which is taking place on Saturday, March 1st at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada. There will be two chamber matches that will decide who else will get a world title shot atWrestleMania 41at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 19th and 20th. “Main Event"Jey Usoand “The Queen"Charlotte Flairhave already punched their tickets to Vegas after winning the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches.
It’s going to be a groundbreaking year for WWE as they will add moreSaturday Night Main EventPLE’s to the schedule. In addition to that, they will also have atwo-nightSummerslamfor the first time in its 38-year history.It will take place on Saturday, August 2nd, and Sunday, August 3rd at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The match card forElimination Chamberis set and expected to be a huge night.John Cenais in pursuit of securing an opportunity at a record-breaking 17th world title. Unfortunately for him, themen’s Elimination Chamber match is one of the most stacked of all-time. Along with Cena, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, and Damian Priest will all be in the match as well. The winner will go on to face Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes atWrestleMania 41.
In the women’s Elimination Chamber match, participants will be Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Naomi, and Roxanne Perez. The winner receives a chance to dethrone Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley atWrestleMania 41. Toronto’s own Trish Status will return and team up with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and will face Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.
Finally, what will likely receive the most interaction from the crowd at the Rogers Centre, a battle for Canada’s supremacy between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. It should be a considerably fun PLE to lead us intoWrestleMania.
WWE Roadblock

WWE Roadblock, formerly known asNXT Roadblock, has taken the NXT brand out of the PLE’s title completely after their official announcement. It will take place on Tuesday, March 11th at Madison Square Garden in New York City. For the first time since 2016, NXT will have a live PLE at The Garden.
WWE NXT Stand & Deliver
April 19
As part ofWrestleMania 41weekend,NXT Stand & Deliverwill take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, April 19th at approximately 1:30pm EST/10:30 am PT. This event is where NXT plans their biggest and most dynamic matches every year. Essentially, it also projects to be a “send-off” show for talent that are expecting to be called up to the main roster at the WWE Brand Draft.
WWE WrestleMania 41

WrestleMania 41will also take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, April 19th, and Sunday, April 20th. We already know two matches are happening; Jey Uso versus Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship, and Tiffany Stratton will be defending the WWE Women’s title against Flair.
WWE Summerslam
August 2 + 3
After taking place in Cleveland, Ohio last year, WWE takes “The Biggest Party of the Summer” to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey this year. As mentioned earlier, it will be the first time in historySummerslamwill be a two-night event. It will be interesting to see what surprises are in store for this year’s PLE.
WWE Clash In Paris
August 31
WWE Clash in Parisbrings year three of this PLE that typically takes place in European countries. Since being established in 2022, they’ve already been to the United Kingdom, Scotland, and now Paris, France. It will take place at Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France on Sunday, August 31st. The success and overwhelming crowd engagement ofBacklash Francelast year is to thank for this PLE’s location.
Undated & Previous Dates for PLE’s Yet To Be Announced
NXT Spring Breakin'
Last year’sNXT Spring Breakin’took place two weeks in a row at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. It took place on April 23rd and April 30th. More than likely, WWE will continue doing it that way, so tentatively speaking, it could take place on April 22nd and 29th.
WWE Backlash
Backlash Francelast year was a huge success. It took place on Saturday, May 4th, which means they will likely keep this PLE on the same day. It will likely end up moving a day earlier, to Saturday, May 3rd. In terms of location, rumors are circulating that it could be held in Mexico. But nothing has been confirmed yet. The WWE Universe showed up in a huge way with the memorable moment of the phone lights and lighters shining for Uso’s entrance.
NXT Battleground
It was a step in a new direction forWWE NXTwhen they tookNXT Battlegroundon the road to the UFC Apex in Las Vegas last year. It took place on Sunday, June 9th last year and was the event that crowned the first ever NXT Women’s North American Champion in Kelani Jordan after her victory in a ladder match. The date for this year would likely be Sunday, June 8th, but the location could be New Orleans, Louisiana. They seemed to have tested the waters last year with the PLE being in the location whereWrestleMania 41was announced.
Money In The Bank
In 2024, what we thought was going to be “Yeet in the Bank” instead ended up being the night Drew McIntyre won the briefcase, just to fail his cash-in later on in the night. It was also the night where the “Tiffy Time” era began, as she won the briefcase, which eventually won Stratton the WWE Women’s title. Last year’sMoney in the Banktook place in Toronto, Canada on Saturday, July 6th. This year it’ll likely fall on Saturday, July 5th.
