Following the highly-anticipated official release ofBalloonerism, Mac Miller fans are curious about what other unreleased projects could be revealed from the rapper/musician’s expansive vault. According toGenius,Mac Miller has more than 250 known unreleased songseven after the official release ofBalloonerism, which was released by Mac Miller’s estate and Warner Bros. on June 10, 2025. While listeners are still taking their time to dissect all14 new Mac Miller tracks onBalloonerism, his most dedicated fans know and hope that it could lead to more posthumous releases by the late artist.
While anunofficial leak ofBalloonerismhas circled the Internet since 2020, the official release offers a more polished and immersive soundscape. Some leaked songs are not featured on the official release, such as early versions of “Colors and Shapes” and a Mike Jones-less “Uber”, bothFacestracks, “Bob’s Dementia”, “He Finally Sleeps” and “Smile”.Balloonerismwas released with a 24-minute animated companion film directed by Samuel Jerome Mason, currentlystreaming on Amazon Prime Video.Balloonerismis now the seventh studio album and second posthumous release after 2020’sCircles.

There is reportedly a wealth of Mac Miller material that has not yet seen the light of day. Additionally, there are also several released projects and mixtapes that could get theFacesandBalloonerismtreatment by getting officially released with accompanying streaming, vinyl, and merch drops. These includeDelusional Thomas,Run-On Sentences 1 & 2, and early mixtapes such asThe High LifeandOn and On and Beyond.Balloonerismwas primarily released because it was important to Mac, and that surely fits other unreleased projects, many of which are completed or near-finished collaborations with other incredible artists and producers.

Madlib collaboration
A collab project between legendary hip-hop producer and DJ Madlib and Mac Miller has been on the radar for years but has yet to be released. Within the last few years, Madlib announced that the project was gearing up to be released but as of January 2025, there have been no updates on that front. Hopefully, the project still exists in some capacity afterMadlib’s house burned down during the recent Palisades fire. Some of the known tracks onMaclibinclude “Pay Me Money”, “English Breakfast”, “Nosy Neighbor”, and “Lightning Dog”. Madlib announced onSway in the Morningthat he completedMaclibin March 2023. The album was recorded between 2015 and 2017 but was shelved ahead of 2018’sSwimming.
10Pink Slime
Pharrell collaboration
Another well-known Miller collab project isPink Slimeproduced by acclaimed rapper/musician Pharrell Williams. Word ofPink Slimeoriginated back in 2012 ahead of Mac’s 2013 releaseWatching Movies with the Sound Offfollowing the popularity of 2012’sMacadelic. Apparently, Mac and Pharrell completed the project butMiller ultimately decided not to release it since he wanted to go in a different directionwith his music.
Given Pharrell’s track record,Pink Slimewas expected to be a more upbeat project for Miller, which wouldn’t necessarily fit with the trip-hop-infused sound ofMacadelic,Watching Movies, andFaces. Mac Miller released aPink Slime single “Onaroll” on YouTube, whichannounced a “June 17, 2025” release datein its description. Another single “Glow” was also released. Nearly 10 years later, the project remains unreleased.

9Untitled EP With Ty Dolla $ign
Worked on weeks before his death
Mac Miller collaborated with Ty Dolla $ign on his hit song “Cinderella” offThe Divine Feminine. According to aRolling Stonearticle, he and Ty Dolla $ign were collaborating on a joint project just weeks before Mac’s death in September 2018. Since then,Ty Dolla $ign has paid tribute to Mac Miller during his NPR Tiny Desk concert in 2019by performing “Cinderella” and released the track “I Believed It” featuring Mac Miller, but no project has surfaced. Recently, Ty Dolla $ign has been frequently collaborating with Kanye West on twoVulturesalbums and hasn’t spoken on his unrealized Mac project in some time.
8Christmas Tape with Cam’ron
Made around the time of Pink Slime
Legendary rapperCam’ron first collaborated with Mac Miller on “Ignorant” offMacadelicin 2012. Miller annoucned that he planned on putting out a Christmas album with Cam’ron. According toComplexin 2015, Mac said, “It’s funny because we were going to do a project for Christmas, we were going to do a Christmas album. It was like around the same time I was gonna do the Pharrell EP. I was also gonna do a Cam’ron Christmas album”. Mac added, “He wanted to do it like Step Brothers-themed. Looking back, I wish I [put it out]. But I’ve made, like, nine albums before putting this one [GOOD:AM] out.” While this one may not be the first on anyone’s list of unreleased Mac albums, the project sounds hilarious and would be awesome to listen to, especially around the holidays.
7'92 til Infinity
Collaboration with DJ Jazzy Jeff
Mac Miller first announced'92 til Infinityback in March 2011, a collaboration project with DJ Jazzy Jeff ofThe Fresh Prince of Bel-Airacclaim. After all this time, there have been no updates on the project, making it one of Mac Miller’s most elusive unreleased projects.He confirmed in 2012 that the album was still happening, which hints that the project is completed, but it has yet to see the light of day.
“It’s still happening,” Miller said in an exclusive interview withTheWellVersedand 2DopeBoyz. “We have a date for it and everything.” Thelast time Miller spoke of it was that it would be released in 2013. It appears that several of his anticipated projects from that era were left behind following the release ofWatching Movies with the Sound Off.

6Go Fish!

Go Fish!is a collection of Larry Fisherman beats that Mac created mostly for other artists. Perhaps the most unlikely of Mac’s unreleased works to get an official release,Go Fish!is still an important part of his underground discographythat is worth mentioning. Rapper Conway the Machine released"Go Fish Vol. 1" on YouTubein 2021, featuring new production by Fisherman/Miller.
According toThe Faderin 2016, “Mac Miller started “!GO FISH!,” a series of singles crafted under his producer alias Larry Fisherman and featuring different rappers. So far we’ve had tracks with Conway and Your Old Droog, and the most recent addition features massive bars from Michael Christmas, the Boston rapper whose album What A Weird Day dropped in October.” These songs are also available on YouTube as well.

5The Basement Tapes
Made from 2012 to 2015
The Basement Tapesare a compilation of singles and features that Mac Millermade between 2012 and 2015 at his mansion in Los Angeles. While it’s uncertain who exactly would be on these recordings, some likely candidates include TDE’s ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul, Long Beach-based rapper Vince Staples, and potentially some OddFuture members such as Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler, the Creator. A few known songs considered to be part ofThe Basement Tapesinclude “All The Time” featuring Ab-Soul, “Dog Pound” featuring Waka Flocka Flame, and “Cold” featuring Curren$y.
4The Divine Feminine B-Side
Metro Boomin collaboration
Miller had initially intended to release a companion project to 2016’sThe Divine Femininewhich was considered to be an unreleased B-side completely produced by Metro Boomin. Mac revealed in an interview, “I had this joint that I did with Metro Boomin that’s like some real hard stuff,” Mac said. “There was a love album and there was a really hard album that I was gonna release as a double album. It was going to be a one-person Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, but I decided to focus a little more [on The Divine Feminine].“The only song that was leaked from the project was “Real”, but the B-side remains untitled and unreleased.
3Thundercat & Rick Rubin Collaborations
Thundercat confirmed an album with him and Mac exists
Mac Miller states that he and frequent collaborator Thundercat have hundreds if not thousands of unreleased music.Thundercat confirmed that there is at least an album’s worth of music between him and Mac in 2020, although he did not reveal when or if he would ever release it. As it turns out, both Thundercat and Rick Rubin would become a part of the 2025 Balloonerism release. Thundercat produced and provided bass on severalBalloonerismtracks while at least two songs, “Shangri-La” and “Rick’s Piano”, are directly linked to Miller’s time at Rubin’s house while in recovery, which supposedly spawned even more unreleased tracks.
2Your Shoes Are Untied
BADBADNOTGOOD collaboration
A screenshot from Mac Miller’s MTV reality showMac Miller and the Most Dope Family(2013-2014) revealed the unreleased projectYour Shoes Are Untied, a collaboration with dance/electronic band BADBADNOTGOOD. While Mac has teased the project on social media, the project has not been officially released and it’s unclear if it ever will be. At leastthree songs off the album have leaked, including “Die”, “Family Lives”, and the title track. Some have been able to find the complete EP in the depths of the Internet, which would only prolong or potentially eliminate the chance for an official release.
