Star Wars' New Show Really Is A Coming-Of-Age Tale

The highly anticipatedStar Wars: Skeleton Crewfinally has a trailer, and it proves thatStar Warsis keeping true to its word. The TV show is a coming-of-age story featuring children from a planet highly reminiscent of Earth during the New Republic era. Although the children have yet to be identified, they are clearly of variousStar Warsspecies and become lost in the galaxy during the course of the show.

The trailer also revealed thatthe children encounter Jude Law’s character, Jod Na Nawood, who is shown using the Force. Although the children identify him as a Jedi, it isn’t entirely clear whether that’s the case. After all, being a Jedi goes far beyond simply using the Force, and it’s unclear how Jod Na Nawood would have come by that training during this period in theStar Warstimeline.
