TheEpisode: Heresyquestline inDestiny 2asks you to find and beat a secret boss named Vorok, Sentinel Eternal to obtain rewards needed to complete missions for various rewards. Vorok is an entity you can summon in three different locations, but only when you interact with the environment to fulfill certain conditions. As a result, Vorok is difficult to track down if you don’t know where to look.

The quest tied to Vorok is called"Shattered Will: Vorok, Sentinel Eternal,“amission you pick up from the Shaping Slab in The Last Cityarea. The storyline surrounding Vorok comes from the weeklyHeresymissions that have taken place sinceThe Final Shapeexpansion DLC forDestiny 2. Your goal for Vorok’s quest is to obtain his Shard of the Willbreaker, a powerful artifact needed to progress the story.

Search Areas On The Nether’s Dreadnaught

Vorok, Sentinel Eternal spawns in three locations in The Nether, a special location you’re able to explore. The Nether has several rules and gameplay changes that make it unique among the areas you can explore inDestiny 2. While you look for Vorok along the large Dreadnaught ship that takes up most of The Nether, the following combat changes are in effect:

The limited ammo available in The Nether means you have to pick and choose your fights more carefully. Even your raised Health and Overshields won’t be enough to protect you, as Healing Orbs are few and far between.

Destiny 2 The Mausoleum location spawn of Vorok, Setinel Eternal secret boss

Similar to findingSundered Doctrine chests inDestiny 2, youcan’t find Vorok if you beat the main boss of The Netherbeforehand. If the secret boss despawns, you’ll have to restart your exploration even if you found the boss in two of their three locations.

Sundered Doctrine takes Guardians back to Rhulk’s pyramid ship to find new and familiar puzzles, enemies, and rewards in Destiny 2’s newest dungeon.

The table below outlines each subsection of The Nether where you may find Vorok, Sentinel Eternal, as well as how you can summon the secret boss in each location:

Destiny 2 Shattered Wil: Vorok, Sentinel Eternal quest completion and rewards

Before you light braziers at any Vorok spawn point, try to take out any enemies in the immediate area first. This will help you face the secret boss 1v1, which I’ve found to be much easier with a high DPS loadout.Don’t forget to grab a Healing Orb to restore your health before summoning Vorok, as thatfeature inDestiny 2will keep you healthy enough to fight the Sentinel Eternal at your full strength.

How To Defeat Vorok, Sentinel Eternal

Deal High Damage To Wipe Out The Secret Boss

Despite Vorok’s status as a secret boss, the Sentinel Eternal does not have a ton of health. As such, you canuse a large AoE ability or grenade to lock down Vorok as it spawnsto deal high damage to it right away after you light the braziers. Typically, Vorok will spawn in the middle of where all the braziers are, making it difficult for his appearance to surprise you if you’re prepared.

As you continue to whittle down Vorok’s health, the Sentinel Eternal can use Strand powers to pull you closer to it. Vorok wields a large Strand rifle to shoot you from afar, but the boss' highest damage comes from a massive sword that can tear through your Guardian’s life in a second. Distance is the key to victory against Vorok each time, as the boss does not change their attack patterns in the three times you face them.

Prismatic Titan with Exotic Class Items from Destiny 2 2

Vorok, Sentinel Eternal has the same amount of health every time you summon them from the braziers in The Nether. This makes the same strategy against the secret boss useful all three times to progress theHeresyquestline.

Another way to beat Vorok quickly is touse a class Super ability to immediately drop the bossif it deals damage in some way. Landing headshots against Vorok will also reduce its health fast, so just keep up the pressure to win.
