A suite of other fixes addresses problems with crashes, animations, languages, and more.

The problem is how the rest of the fight goes, asit mostly centers around slowly chipping away at the boss’s legs and dodging sudden devastating attacks.

Later foes like the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master or thefinal boss of the gameare harder, but mastering them is significantly more thrilling. Lowering the stats of Captain Wise-Voice makes it easier to appreciate the cool presentation of the Pagoda Realm boss rather than getting hung up on how slow and frustrating the fight can be.
Although the patch is under 2 GB on PC, 80 GB of free space is necessary for temporary file storage, which could be frustrating for anyone pressed for space.
There’s always a possibility that GameScience might end up adjusting otherBlack Myth: Wukongbosses in the future, but if Captain Wise-Voice ends up being the only one to make it into a patch, the game will still be better for it. Although no other bosses received nerfs in the game’s first update, the Yaogaui King Lingxuzi might also be a bit easier, as optimization for hair effects might help with frame rate problems in the fight.Black Myth: Wukong’s boss fightsare consistently the highlight of the game, so it’s nice to see that GameScience is paying attention.
