Avowed Review: The Fate Of The Living Lands Is In Your Hands
Avowed is the latest RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, and it’s an incredible showcase of the beloved studio’s writing and world-building.
Players may also be paying extra for the Premium Edition for that four-day early access period, which could also be helping push it up the list. It’s worth noting that Steam measures its Top Sellers by revenue, not by actual copies sold, andAvowed’s Premium Edition, at $89.99, is by far the most expensive item in that top five.

But if anything, it’s probably Obsidian’s pedigree that’s drivingAvowedsales. The developers of such storied RPGs asFallout New VegasandPillars of Eternityhave lots of fans who are clearly eager to play their next RPG. As one of them, no matter what the cause for this early surge in sales, I’m happy to seeAvowedthriving.
