Where To Find Every Taiyi Pill
Search Around Every Chapter
Five Taiyi Pills can be found in the game, with one being present in each story Chapter. Only one Pill exists in a Chapter, making it relatively difficult to find among the other items you can collect in the landscapes you explore. Try tounlock as many Keeper’s Shrines as you canto broaden where you can travel as you search for every Taiyi Pill available.
Black Myth: Wukong - How To Unlock Every Mysticism
Mysticisms are specific spells in Black Myth: Wukong, which you may unlock to alter the world, either to enhance your strength or disrupt enemies.
Chapter 1 Taiyi Pill
Marsh of White Mist
From this area’s Shrine in the Bamboo Grove of Black Wind Mountain, head past the gate and go down past the scaffolding. The Pill is past the cave where you fought theWhiteclad Noble inBlack Myth: Wukong, on a table next to the ledge where you’re able to see the whole region.
Chapter 2 Taiyi Pill
Rock Clash Platform
Go to this Fright Cliff Shrine, then turn around and head down the stairs close by. The Pill will be on a table to your right underneath a tree and hidden in the shade.
Chapter 3 Taiyi Pill
Outside the Wheel
From this The New West Shrine, head up the stairs to your right and take another sharp right from the water in the caves. Follow the path through the snow until you see the table with the Pill on it to your right past another small cave.
Chapter 4 Taiyi Pill
Cliff of Oblivion
Go to this Webbed Hollow Shrine, then head down the long tunnel on your left and across the large insect/hand forming a bridge. Take a sharp left and head upwards to see the table with the Pill in this upper section of the area.
Chapter 5 Taiyi Pill
Rakshasa Palace
From this Furnace Valley Shrine in the Flaming Mountains, the Pill is right behind the Shrine to your right on a table near some rocks and a barren tree. This can be found across the rivers of lava in this area’s lower regions.
As you’re able to see in the above video by YouTube creatorWoW Quests, you may have to defeat several bosses first before you can reach any of the Celestial Pills, including the Taiyi medicines that boost your Mana.
Unfortunately, there areno Celestial Taiyi Pills in Chapter 6, the last section of the story. None of these Pills can be found during thesecret ending ofBlack Myth: Wukongeither, which also takes place in an additional area of the game. Scour each area you visit for the other types of Celestial Pills to maximize your stats before reaching the last challenges of the game.
How To Buy Celestial Taiyi Pills
Talk To Xu Dog For Extra Medicine
Beyond the Taiyi Pills you can find naturally throughout each Chapter, you canbuythis medicine on your ownwhen you spend the right materials. In Chapter 2, you have the ability to help out an NPC named Xu Dog, who needs help getting an item swallowed by the mini-boss Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw. Once you defeat this electric-empowered foe, Xu Dog will eventually become a vendor underneath the Crouching Tiger Temple.
Xu Dog willaccept Mind Cores in exchange for Celestial Pillsyou can purchase when you hand over these special items.Mind Cores inBlack Myth: Wukongmostly come from defeating various bosses, which are found in abundance as you explore different Chapters. Sometimes you may find a spare Mind Core or two from a chest or Keeper’s Shrine, but this is a less reliable method to farm the item.
How To Upgrade Your Gourd in Black Myth: Wukong (Drink Type & Soaks)
Your Gourd is your primary source of healing you may upgrade in Black Myth: Wukong, but there are other drink types and soaks you can use to alter it.
One to three Mind Cores can be spent with Xu Dog to get a type of Celestial Pill you need, including the Taiyi Pills that boost your Mana. You can also try to get a Jade Lotus Pill or Nonary Pill depending on your current stats. The higher a stat is, the more expensive a Celestial Pill that increases it further is likely to be with Xu Dog.
How To Use Celestial Taiyi Pills
No Need To Consume
Unlike other medicines offered by Xu Dog that are temporary consumables, youdo not need to eat a Celestial Taiyi Pill to gain its effects. Simply gaining one instance of this item is enough to raise your Mana without any additional effort. The Taiyi Pills, and any other Celestial Pills you get, transfer over into New Game+ ofBlack Myth: Wukongto keep your stats raised.
You can find every Celestial Taiyi Pill again during a playthrough of New Game+ in the same places, so track each down again to raise your total Mana even further.
Gathering five Celestial Pills of every type will earn you the"Medicine Meal"achievement/trophy for your efforts. If you fail to collect every Pill on your first playthrough, simply go back through New Game+ until you have farmed the same Taiyi Pills enough times to meet this goal. You can apply this strategy to the other Celestial Pills as well if you didn’t get them from Xu Dog first.
There doesn’t seem to be a limit to how many Celestial Taiyi Pills you may obtain, so gather as many as possible to raise your Mana to ridiculous heights. With enough magic, you may even rival Sun Wukong himself once you farm enough Celestial Taiyi Pills from all their spawning locations inBlack Myth: Wukong.
