Then, a quick shot reveals an island, surrounded by water with no other land in sight. After showing key symbols from the movie’s poster, the final shots are cut to show what appears to be a crucifix.

Alternatively, the island could be overrun with zombies and non-zombie people might be working to figure out an escape with limited resources.
