TheYoung Avengersare bound to play an important role in theMarvel Cinematic Universeafter years of setup, and when the team formally comes together, they could use the experience of some long-time franchise players. With the start of the Multiverse Saga, Marvel got the chance to expand the universe on Disney+. MultipleMCU movies and TV showssince then have included the debut of at least one younger hero, with a few projects even focusing on them.

One ofThe Marvels' post-credits scenes was responsible for the biggest step yet towards the arrival of the Young Avengers, asIman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel recruited Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop for her new team. Kamala Khan also mentioned going after Cassie Lang, Ant-Man’s daughter, and there are plenty of other options for the superhero team. The young heroes could need some help to get started, and that is why some veteran characters could assist them as mentors infuture MCU movies.

Daredevil: Born Again Episodes 5 & 6 Review - I Was Thrilled To Finally See Charlie Cox Back In The Daredevil Suit Fighting Muse

Daredevil: Born Again’s latest two episodes are perfect for the MCU fans who felt like the show needed more action, as Daredevil returns in style.

He befriends and saves Ms. Marvel’s father, withYusuf later inviting Matt to have dinner at his house. While the purpose of the dinner was so that they could come up with a financial plan for Matt’s law firm, it would mean Daredevil and Ms. Marvel would finally meet in the MCU. Given his many years of experience as one of the heroes who values a secret identity the most, Daredevil could help make sure the Young Avengers know how to balance their superhero and private lives.

9Captain Marvel

The Hero Was Already In A Team With A Young Avenger

When it comes to MCU heroes who have played a role in the evolution of the possible members of the Young Avengers, few have had as formative a role as that Captain Marvel has in Ms. Marvel’s superhero identity. As the character’s name suggests,Kamala Khan is a Carol Danvers super fan, which the MCU got to explore when the two heroes came together for the first time.

As Ms. Marvel is set to be the leader of the new team, Carol’s role as a mentor to her could expand to the rest.

The Marvelsmade them part of a team that included Monica Rambeau, who is now lost in an X-Men universe that will come back inAvengers: Doomsday.Captain Marvel’s Air Force background makes her a hero with a strong sense of duty, which she can instill in the Young Avengers. As Ms. Marvel is set to be the leader of the new team, Carol’s role as a mentor to her could expand to the rest.

8White Vision

The Android Has Ties To Two Possibe Team Members

White Vision does not have a defined future in the franchise. After debuting inWandaVision,he will next explore the original Vision’s memories in a solo seriesthat allows Marvel to play with how much of the character is new and how much he connects to Paul Bettany’s first version of the Vision. After he finds himself, Vision will need a place in the world, and mentoring the Young Avengers might be it.

James Spader will return as Ultron in the MCU’s upcoming Vision series, setting up White Vision’s future to be an exciting part of the franchise.

The character’s analytical mind could be valuable for a team of young heroes who let their recklessness shine more times than they would admit. White Vision might also have a unique connection to the team, as there is a good chance thatat least one of his sons, if not both, could be part of the Young Avengers. Joe Locke’s Billy Maximoff debuted inAgatha All Along, with Tommy finding a new body. White Vision could mentor his sons and their friends.

7Agatha Harkness

The Witch Has Been Set Up To Mentor A Young Avenger

Agatha Harkness as a mentor might seem like a confusing proposition at first. However,Agatha All Alongshowed that there is goodness inside the witch, and after the way the show ended, it seems like her MCU future will remain tied to Locke’s Wiccan.Agatha died in the final episode of her solo series, coming back as a ghost by Billy Maximoff’s side as he set out to find his brother, Tommy.

Agatha clearly connected with Billy throughoutAgatha All Along. That means that wherever the character might go, she would be right there with him, helping Billy with his magic and any dangerous situations. Agatha also has a bond with Tommy, which the MCU can explore now that she helped Billy place his brother’s soul in a new body. Helping the Young Avengers become a formidable team could beAgatha’s way of making amends for all the pain she has caused.

6Wolverine

Logan Is One Of Marvel’s Most Experienced Live-Action Heroes

Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine is one of the longest-running live-action Marvel heroes.Having debuted in 2000’sX-Men, and with his history and healing powers making Logan live longer than most MCU characters, Wolverine is one of the most experienced heroes now in the MCU, if not the most. All that knowledge and experience on the field, as well as in a team — the X-Men — could help the Young Avengers become a well-oiled unit.

Wolverine’s connection to younger heroes was established through Dafne Keen’s X-23in both 2017’sLoganand the MCU’sDeadpool & Wolverine. At 20, Keen would fit in with the Young Avengers stars, and that means Jackman’s Wolverine could stick around longer in the MCU, going from a more active role to a retired mentor for the team, perhaps even with a new Logan debuting as part of the MCU’s X-Men reboot plans.

5Star-Lord

A Team Leader Who Can Help The Young Avengers Get Established

Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord is the only member of the Guardians of the Galaxy confirmed to return to the MCUat the moment. However, there is no announced project for him to do so. With Peter Quill unlikely to go back to the cosmic team, instead of going off on solo adventures, it would make sense for the hero’s skills to be used in another team setting, and the Young Avengers provide him with the perfect opportunity to do so.

Star-Lord’s brand of humor is a great fit for Ms. Marvel’s.Quill could pass to Kamala everything he learned as the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, especially how to create a family out of a team and how to make tough choices. His leadership skills make him a great mentor for the leader of the Young Avengers.

4Isaiah Bradley

The Mentor Of The Likely Leader Of The Avengers Could Help The Young Team

So far, one MCU movie has been released in 2025. Despite its flaws,Captain America: Brave New Worldhandled Isaiah Bradley perfectly, showing why the hero is so easy to sympathize with. It also explored howIsaiah has become a mentor to Sam Wilson, the MCU’s new Captain America. If he can be of service to train Captain America, who was teased to be the leader of the new Avengers, then Isaiah could help the Young Avengers.

Carl Lumbly’s character has a grandson,Eli Bradley, who is a member of the Young Avengersin the comics. Having raised him in the MCU, Isaiah would likely help Eli’s team if he were to join the Young Avengers. His experience with the dark side of the U.S. government would ensure that the team takes things seriously and does not make the wrong decisions.

3Doctor Strange

The Former Sorcerer Supreme Has Experience With Young Heroes

Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange isone of the most powerful and wisest characters in the MCU. The hero has already shown how he can work in a mentor role to younger players in the franchise twice. InDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, he saved America Chavez from the Scarlet Witch and helped her with a place to learn magic and feel she belonged in the form of Kamar-Taj.

InSpider-Man: No Way Home,Doctor Strange built a deep connection with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. He helped him with a dangerous spell and tried to guide him through difficult choices. While Spider-Man’s situation did not work as it was intended to, Strange could ensure the same does not happen with the Young Avengers, helping the team to make up for his shortcomings with Peter.

2Ant-Man

The Father Of A Confirmed Young Avengers Member

Ant-Man is one of the easiest choices for MCU veterans who would be perfect to mentor the Young Avengers. His daughter has already been confirmed for the team, as Ms. Marvel’s father revealed that Kamala — presumably with Kate Bishop after recruiting her inThe Marvels— was in California to meet friends. Since Kathryn Newton’s Cassie Lang lives in San Francisco, Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang could even be part of their meeting.

Ant-Man has experience as a member of the Avengers, and he even had to battle Kang the Conqueror, beating the villain who was once set to wreak havoc in the multiverse.Scott has the same kind of humor that suits the Young Avengers' style, a strong paternal instinct that would make him go along to keep his daughter safe, and the compassion to show the team what a true hero looks like.

1Hawkeye

An Original Avengers Member To Help Guide The New Team

Finally, the Young Avengers could have a great chance of becoming a popular MCU team if one of the original Avengers was there to guide them. On Disney+‘sHawkeye,Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton bonded with Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop, with the two teaming up to save New York City. Initially wanting nothing with Kate, Hawkeye would prove himself a great mentor to the young hero who looked up to him.

The two grew to have a close bond, with Kate sharing the Hawkeye mantle with Clint and even spending Christmas with him and his family. As he has experience in the MCU’s premiere superhero team, and Clint has always been shown to be a good mentor —he made Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch stop doubting herself and become a hero— Hawkeye could be the one to guide theYoung Avengersas they face threats that they can only defeat together.
